BASF is offering a unique 4-month internship starting in Summer 2027, based in Strathmore, AB, and Winnipeg, MB. You will work closely with the Agronomic Excellence team, executing field trials and learning the intricacies of crop performance while building a professional network in the agriculture field. This role emphasizes experiential learning, making a meaningful impact in agronomy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct critical trials evaluating canola hybrids
• Support all phases of the crop cycle
• Analyze crop performance data from trials
• Oversee and guide casual staff during fieldwork
• Travel to various locations for diagnostic assessments
Requirements:
• Enrolled in a related agricultural degree program
• Passionate about agronomic research and fieldwork
• Strong communicator with organizational abilities
• Willingness to travel with a valid driver's license
• Familiarity with field research practices preferred
