Position: Basic Procedures Laboratory Technician at AGAT
Become a Seasonal Laboratory Technician at AGAT Laboratories, focusing on basic lab procedures, equipment operation, and analysis reporting to enhance your laboratory skills. This role supports a fast-paced scientific environment.

As part of the lab team, you will engage in essential tasks such as preparing samples and reagents, and maintaining equipment like GC-FID and TCD with the guidance of experienced staff. Your efforts in cleaning and organizing the lab will be crucial for smooth operations. Attention to detail and effective communication will be vital in documenting results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare samples and reagents for lab testing

• Maintain cleanliness of glassware and work areas

• Assist in operating GC-FID and TCD instruments

• Conduct basic analyses and compile results

• Support other laboratory tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Chemistry or equivalent

• Previous lab experience is advantageous

• Familiarity with GC procedures desired

• Strong English communication, both verbal and written

• Good attention to detail and organizational skills
