Dr. Parnell’s lab seeks Research Assistants for an online questionnaire study evaluating iron levels in para-athletes. The work provides hands-on experience in performance nutrition, para-sport, participant recruitment, and data management. Assist with research administration and statistical analysis learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate participant recruitment strategies primarily through Instagram
Organize, structure, and code quantitative research data
Complete literature support tasks for the research team
Provide administrative research support as needed
Requirements:
Completed university courses in Nutrition and Statistics
Strong communication skills and Instagram management familiarity
High attention to detail in research tasks
Experience or interest in adaptive sports or disability communities
Interest in quantitative statistical analysis and literature reviews
