Position Overview

Under the direction of the Front of the House Manager, the Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests based on the Casino’s standardized drink recipes. They also may serve food to guests and service staff, ensuring a positive dining experience for each guest. The bartender must take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety and health of guests, and that safe work practices are adhered to at all times.

Responsibilities include assisting the FOH Manager or Supervisor(s) in areas when and where required.

• MUST be available for shift work (days, evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays).

• MUST HAVE Alberta SMART Training Pro Serve.
• Preference will be given to applicants with a Bartending Certificate plus experience or applicants who have 1 – 2 years’ experience as a bartender.
• Specific Casino food and beverage operational experience would be an asset.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required to promote and deliver impeccable service standards at all times.
• Experience working with POS systems is required.
