Position: Fixed Term Safety Associate HBC
Join HBC as a Fixed Term Asset Protection Associate focused on enhancing store safety measures across Canada. Engage in theft prevention and compliance efforts while maintaining a positive store atmosphere.

This role emphasizes asset protection through audits, theft detection, and adherence to safety protocols ’ll be responsible for executing initiatives to reduce shortages, conducting store audits, and innovating current practices. A flexible schedule will support operational needs, including evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate timely execution of asset protection strategies

• Conduct consistent store audits and enforce compliance

• Detect internal and external theft and respond accordingly

• Develop new ideas for improving asset protection measures

• Communicate effectively with store teams for clarity

Requirements:

• Valid regional security license not needed in some areas

• Knowledge of retail procedures and security laws

• Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and nights

• Track record of solving operational challenges in security

• Strong collaboration skills with customers and other associates
