Garden center Customer Service Associate - Temp

Join our customer service team to support customers and manage special orders in a dynamic retail environment. Keep the store organized and ensure a great shopping experience.

• Assist customers with information/product requirements in the store or by telephone.
• Prepare special orders by gathering required information and specifications, and contact the Special Order Purchaser to confirm price and delivery date.
• Maintain the store, ensuring areas are well stocked and merchandised with up-to-date product levels, information signage, and monitor inventory.
• Perform inventory counts, highlight inventory concerns, and keep current with flyer and promotional events.
• Actively increase product knowledge, understand application and renovation techniques, and improve selling skills through available training sessions.
• Execute other related tasks to ensure smooth store operations.

• Effective selling skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to assess customer requirements and offer recommendations.
• Some experience in a customer-focused role is required.
• Ability to perform duties involving stretching, bending, lifting, and carrying medium to heavy products.
