Customer Service Cashier Co-op

Become a vital part of Calgary Co-op as a Customer Service Cashier, where your role enhances customer experiences and maintains store efficiency. This position requires strong interpersonal skills and adherence to safety protocols in a retail environment.

As a Customer Service Cashier, you will report to the Customer Service Supervisor and manage a variety of tasks including customer service, cash handling, and merchandise display. Your ability to maintain positive customer relations and ensure product integrity will be essential. You will also perform essential cleaning and organizational duties to ensure a welcoming shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service and manage inquiries

• Operate cash registers efficiently during transactions

• Maintain organized display presentations and stock levels

• Ensure the sales floor is clean and safe for customers

• Follow safety regulations and report equipment issues

Requirements:

• Grade 9 education or equivalent experience

• Related retail experience in customer service

• Previous cash handling experience preferred

• Strong English communication skills

• Proficiency in basic computer programs
