Store Associate

Position: Full-Time Store Associate
Become a pivotal part of The Salvation Army team in Calgary as a full-time Store Associate. Engage with customers, sort donations, and help drive retail operations each day.

This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and efficiently managing incoming products at The Salvation Army Thrift Store. You will greet customers, handle transactions, and ensure the store maintains a welcoming atmosphere. Strong attention to detail and support for the organization's mission will help you thrive in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers with donations and inquiries

• Process transactions accurately with cash and debit

• Sort and organize incoming donations for the sales floor

• Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards

• Help create enticing merchandise displays

Requirements:

• Some high school education completed

• Experience in customer service or goods processing

• Cash handling expertise is required

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
