Student Grocery Cashier – Tisdale Food Store (2 positions available)
A cashier position involves providing professional, courteous and efficient service in the grocery store.
Duties and Responsibilities- Provide a professional approach to work concerning areas such as attitude, dependability, and appearance.
- Process customer purchases through the cash register, including proper handling of pricing, coupons, rain checks, and cheque authorization.
- Provide a level of service to all customers that meets the Co‑operatives standards in courtesy and efficiency.
- Assist in the planning and organization of merchandise displays for regular stock as well as for special sales and promotional events.
- Maintain a constant alert against unauthorized removal of merchandise.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working with the public.
- Must be available for work a variety of shifts including weekends.
