Meat Wrapper Role Co-op

Become a pivotal part of Calgary Co-op as a Meat Wrapper, focusing on customer satisfaction and the quality of meat products. This role emphasizes effective communication and teamwork in a diverse environment.

Reporting directly to the Meat Supervisor, your responsibilities will include ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of meat wrapping and display organization. You'll handle transactions and contribute to inventory management, all while prioritizing safety and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support customers with inquiries and product requests

• Organize meat wrapping functions for efficiency

• Ensure quality and integrity of meat handling

• Perform cleanup and sanitization tasks in the department

• Assist with ordering and receiving inventory accurately

Requirements:

• Grade 9 education or acceptable experience

• Retail or customer service background required

• English fluency with CLBA score of 5 or higher

• Previous meat experience preferred

• Familiarity with ordering and receiving protocols
