Bakery Clerk Co-op

Reporting to the Bakery Supervisor, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, managing product displays, and ensuring high safety standards. In this role, you will also be engaged in the preparation of bakery items, proper merchandise handling, and maintaining cleanliness in the department. Your contribution will help uphold the customer-first values of Calgary Co-op.

Key Responsibilities:

• Address customer questions and provide service

• Execute bakery preparation and panning tasks

• Ensure displays are stocked and visually appealing

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

• Assist in inventory organization and management

Requirements:

• Grade 9 or equivalent education

• Prior experience in retail or baking

• English fluency required

• Knowledge of bakery products preferred
