Job

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Advise to customer inquiries and requests in person, over the phone, via email and through Kenect (text messaging)
  • Remain current with product knowledge regarding parts, hardware, inventory, fleet and new equipment
  • Complete required paperwork with accuracy according to company policies, procedures and protocols
  • Offer your expertise and knowledge on parts and rentals for ag equipment and trailer rentals
  • Working with customers and manufacturers to ensure warranty forms/requests are successfully completed for parts and hardware
  • Perform regular inventory cycle counts and maintain up to date accurate records for parts, hardware and other categories as assigned
  • Assist with year-end inventory counts
  • Back counter parts support (to the mechanics)
  • Prepare invoices and process payments
  • Follow up with customers (parts & rentals)
  • Maintain regular communication with Store/Divisional Managers (Parts & Rentals)
  • Co-ordinate shipping on rental equipment (ie. Deliveries to customers, moving items to other stores/dealers)
  • Monitor condition and functionality of rental equipment and notify Store/Divisional Rental Manager of replacement needs
  • Assist in maintaining updated file on each rental asset containing (all checklists, all CVIPS, registration info, and copies of work orders)
  • Various clerical duties including photocopying, sorting/filing, etc
  • Schedule customer rental bookings
  • Collaborate and follow up with other internal departments as needed
  • Occasional out of town/overnight travel may be necessary
  • Comply with company policies, procedures and protocols
  • Work in GPS system for monitoring/tracking trailer units
  • Assist in maintaining a welcoming, organized and clean workspace and showroom
  • Use safe work practices to ensure safety of all staff, vendors and customers
  • Other tasks and administrative duties as required
  • Weekend and Stat Holiday working hours as scheduled
  • Overtime may be necessary during busy seasons
Skills and

Qualifications:
  • Recognize the importance of building strong, lasting relationships with customers, vendors and co-workers
  • Proficient with technology, computer applications, including Microsoft Office and other industry specific software programs
  • Familiarity with mechanical and agricultural equipment /trailers (considered an asset)
  • Minimum 2 years experience in similar role (preferred)
  • Experience working in agriculture industry (preferred)
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Must be accountable, reliable and have good problem-solving skills
  • Good time management skills with the ability to multi-task and balance priorities
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and excellent follow-through
  • Capable of safely lifting up to 50 lbs. on your own
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written (fluent in English)
  • Able to take direction and work as a team player
  • Maintain a positive “can do” attitude
  • Have great work ethic and willingness to expand industry knowledge/education
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license, clean drivers abstract and satisfactory criminal record check
