Position: Seasonal Retail Customer Service Role
Experience fulfilling customer service at the Wilder Institute's Calgary Zoo this winter as a Seasonal Retail Customer Service Representative. Engage warmly with guests while managing transactions, stocking merchandise, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

This seasonal role begins in late October 2026 and runs until January 2027. Retail Customer Service Representatives ensure visitors enjoy their time at the zoo while making memorable purchases. Responsibilities include cash handling, assisting guests at the gift shop, and managing the rental booth for visitor convenience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process sales and handle cash transactions

• Stock shelves and maintain a tidy store

• Provide excellent customer service during guest interactions

• Instruct visitors on proper use of rental equipment

• Maintain safety standards in all areas

Requirements:

• 2 years of retail experience with sales focus

• Class 5 Driver’s License is beneficial

• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

• Ability to work weekends and holidays

• Capable of lifting up to 40lbs and climbing ladders
