The Glencoe Golf & Country Club is looking for a seasonal full-time Golf Shop Assistant to join our Golf Shop team for the remainder of the 2026 Golf Season. As a Golf Shop Assistant, you will provide a welcoming environment and exceptional customer service while assisting members and guests to enhance their game, look their best, and book tee times through quality, knowledgeable advice and recommendations.

Responsibilities:

• Providing service excellence to members and guests during bookings and retail interactions by providing knowledgeable advice and recommendations in a welcoming manner
• Management of tee times including bookings, changes and cancellations for members and guests
• Promote product inventory through creative merchandising displays
• Participate in event coordination of day-to-day events including corporate events and club wide golf specific events
• Implementation of Golf Shop policies and Club rules and regulations such as dress code
• Timely and effective two-way communication between members, staff and supervisor

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in a retail customer service role is preferred
• Must have a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Computer and Point of Sale System skills are required
• Golf knowledge is considered an asset
• Reliable transportation is required as there is no public transportation to our location

This is a full-time seasonal position that report to the Golf Shop Manager. The successful candidate will be required to work through to the end of the Golf Season (estimated to be October 14 th , 2026) with the potential to change based on business requirements.

The successful applicant will be required to complete a background check as well as Respect in the Workplace certification prior to commencing employment.

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The Club does not provide assistance with obtaining Canadian work authorization.
