Efficient Meat Wrapper Co-op

Join Calgary Co-op's meat department as a Meat Wrapper, dedicated to upholding customer service and quality standards in meat handling. This position emphasizes teamwork and attention to detail.

In this role, you will report to the Meat Supervisor and interact directly with customers, ensuring their needs are met while managing meat displays efficiently. Your focus will be on maintaining a clean environment and complying with health regulations, all while embracing a culture of ownership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver excellent customer service in meat section

• Organize and maintain meat wrapping and displays

• Ensure quality and minimize damages in handling

• Conduct general cleanup tasks and sanitation

• Assist in the ordering and verification of merchandise

Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 9 education or similar experience

• Retail experience with strong customer service skills

• Fluency in English (CLBA score 5+)

• Previous relevant experience preferred

• Knowledge of inventory and receiving practices
