Italian Centre Shop is currently recruiting a Seasonal Cashier /Gift Basket Clerk at our Northland Village Location Northland Dr NW) in Calgary, AB.
This is is a seasonal position that will start as soon as a suitable candidate is found and will end on January 3, 2027

What you’ll do:
- Provide warm, exceptional customer service
- Operate the cash register and process payments, refunds, and exchanges
- Take and prepare gift basket orders with creativity and attention to detail
- Coordinate basket production, delivery, and shipping
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace
- Work as part of a team while confidently managing tasks independently
What we’re looking for:
- Friendly, reliable, and customer-focused
- Strong communication and basic math skills
- Creative and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Previous food service, catering, or basket-making experience is an asset - we’re happy to train the right person!
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Flexibility to work early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Comfortable working in hot or cold environments and handling challenging customer situations.
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, with frequent bending, twisting, squatting, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
- Ability to perform manual and repetitive tasks and occasionally lift up to 22.5 kg (50 lbs.) .
