Deliver friendly customer service as a Deli Utility Clerk while maintaining safe, efficient department operations and positive customer relations.
At Calgary Co-op, the Deli Utility Clerk reports to the Deli Supervisor or Manager. You will handle customer questions, stock displays, prepare deli trays, and maintain organized merchandising. The work includes receiving, ordering, inventory support, food safety, and equipment care.
Key Responsibilities:- Handle customer questions, requests, comments, and complaints professionally
- Stock displays, face products, and maintain presentation
- Prepare deli platters and trays for customers
- Receive merchandise, verify invoices, and manage storage
- Clean fixtures, spills, sales floors, and back stock areas
- Grade 9 or acceptable education and experience combination
- Bakery retail or related retail experience
- Fluency in English
- Deli product knowledge or experience
- Ability to follow food safety and occupational health policies
