Receiving Clerk

Receiving accuracy and inventory control define this full time Receiving Clerk position with Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s in Calgary, AB. Support warehouse operations behind the sales floor.

Reporting to the Retail Manager - Operations, the Receiving Clerk manages incoming purchase orders, package counts, replenishment, stocking, and maintenance. The work supports Cabela’s Canada merchandise and requires careful communication with customers and business contacts. Duties span back room and sales floor operations.

• Receive purchase orders systematically into the building
• Count packages and verify totals against packing slips
• Stock merchandise from the back room to sales floor
• Replenish departments, facing and hanging merchandise
• Complete floor checks, purges, cleaning, and signage updates

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and work accuracy
• Customer service orientation and effective communication
• Ability to handle boxes and stand for extended periods
• Steel toes work boots and PAL license eligibility
