Deliver customer service at Giant Tiger in Calgary while operating electronic cash registers, mainline checkout, and self checkouts part-time.
As a Part-Time Hardgoods Associate, you will support checkout operations and merchandise presentation. The role requires transaction accuracy, attention to detail, communication, and teamwork. You will also maintain standards while following tobacco, lottery, health, safety, and loss prevention policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Record customer transactions using electronic cash registers
- Operate mainline and self checkouts accurately
- Replenish merchandise around the checkout area
- Complete markdowns, SKU changes, and cycle counts
- Maintain checkout cleanliness, planograms, labels, tickets, and signage
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Attention to detail and effective communication
- Availability for days, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to lift or move up to 18 kilograms
