Job Description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Administration
  • Greet all walk-in visitors, answer and transfer calls and take messages.
  • Weekly coordination of mail and couriers (sorting/sending/receiving).
  • Provide support for the sales team and Branch Sales Manager.
  • Routine paperwork and filing as required.
  • Accurately enter data into the CRM (Sales Force) and Mainframe system.
Selling
  • Enter orders for walk-in/counter sales and process credit card payments.
  • Actively find project opportunities through public tender websites and coordinate the opportunities with the BSM.
  • Create and maintain a positive company image by promoting Terrafix products and services.
  • Through telephone and email requests, assist with the preparation of and submit all components for timely and accurate product, technical, pricing information and quotes.
  • Work closely with the sales team to promptly follow-up on all sales leads.
  • Coordinate handling of customer inquiries and issues.
  • Cultivate and maintain professional working relationships with clients.
Operations
  • Alert the purchasing department of low inventory items as noticed when processing orders.
  • Obtain freight rates and coordinate outbound LTL shipments.
  • Coordinate with the operations team to schedule deliveries
  • Assist with picking and filling orders for walk in customers.
Communication
  • Ensure all written and oral communication with clients is accurate, effective, and professional.
  • Expand market awareness of Terrafix through effective communication of the features, benefits and value proposition of the Company’s products, services, and industry experience.
Qualifications

High school diploma.

1+ years’ administrative and/or Sales experience in the construction/industrial industry.

Proficient in the use of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool (i.e. Salesforce)

Experience with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint Slides) would be beneficial.

Ability to mult-task

Office hours are 7:30am to 4:30pm and vary by location, due to the seasonal nature of our business, office hours may vary throughout the year. Based on this and the nature of your role, you will be required to work the hours necessary to fulfill your duties.
