Technical Sales Specialist, Dry Ice Applications (Full‑Time) – Calgary or Edmonton, AB

As a Technical Sales Specialist – Dry Ice Applications, you will promote sales and provide account service to dry‑ice customers across Western Canada. Your responsibilities include prospecting new customers, growing existing relationships, and achieving sales quotas.
Key Accountabilities- Provide technical dry‑ice support to Territory Managers and retail locations.
- Grow dry‑ice sales at retail locations.
- Create long‑term strategic plans for different regions in Western Canada, taking into account regional customer differences.
- Execute new business growth initiatives in dry‑ice applications.
- Review markets and develop strategies to expand them.
- Focus on sales quota, new business development, and maintaining customer relationships.
- Improve gross profit and secure new business.
- Enhance profitability of existing accounts by fully understanding value propositions.
- Support and implement marketing plans, promotions, and new product launches.
- Secure long‑term relationships by negotiating product supply agreements.
- Ensure complete and accurate account setup and pricing data.
- Maintain a list of target accounts and qualify new business leads using the customer‑relationship‑management system.
- Conduct competitive intelligence.
- Collaborate with the operations team to guarantee quality of dry‑ice supply to end users.
- Work closely with Regional Territory Managers in a team solution‑selling approach.
- Demonstrate products to new account customers.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Prefer 5–7 years of outside sales experience.
- Technical knowledge of dry‑ice applications.
- Knowledge of food processing, healthcare and food supply chains, cannabis and dry‑ice blasting essential.
- Ability to present to customers and lead professional presentations at all organization levels.
