Serve Calgary customers with truck and trailer parts knowledge at Fort Garry Industries. Support purchases, questions, and branch sales transactions.
This customer-forward Counter Sales Representative role serves customers in person and on the phone. You will help select and purchase heavy-duty parts and equipment while building long-lasting relationships. The position includes product advice, account assistance, transaction processing, and collaboration with branch team members.
Key Responsibilities:- Help customers select and purchase heavy-duty parts and equipment
- Explain product applications, pricing, availability, and features
- Assist with cash and national accounts
- Process approved credits, invoices, freight billing, and product defects
- Deliver parts or operate a forklift as assigned
- One to five years in parts or similar industry sales
- Parts technician trades program completion preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office equipment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to use ladders and walk through a large warehouse
