Health Account Executive

Drive health benefits sales with Alberta Blue Cross® across Calgary, Edmonton, and surrounding areas. Use strong communication and sales skills with employer groups.

Reporting to the Team Manager, Group Sales, this Account Executive acquires new business through incoming leads and strategic outreach. You will sell health benefit plans to small and midsized employer groups, while servicing and retaining existing groups. The position requires licensing, analytical ability, and accurate communication.

• Manage incoming leads from companies with two to ten employees
• Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities
• Complete and present sales quotations
• Meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas
• Collaborate with sales and service staff

• Full Life and Accident & Sickness licensing before commencement
• Previous health insurance policies and procedures experience preferred
• Strong sales aptitude and desire to learn
• Comfort making sales and follow-up calls
• Strong interpersonal, written, verbal, and analytical skills
