As the Surface Land Administration Student, you will be preforming day to day activities and projects that will provide the development and understanding of the following skill sets: planning and organizing, systems, processes and general job knowledge. Working in the head office of this world class company offers countless opportunities to advance your career in an atmosphere where teamwork, innovation and your expertise are valued.

• Shift schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off, 8 hours/day (Monday – Friday)
• Term length: 12 months
• Term start:
  May 2026

Key Accountabilities

• Help facilitate abandonment and reclamation projects and understand activities related to the program
• Ensure data integrity/maintenance of surface files
• Assist with capital projects and understand the role of surface land in acquiring wells and facilities
• Assist with procedure review and updating
• Support the third-party process and understand liability and regulations associated to granting consent

What You Bring To

The Role

• Currently enrolled in the Energy Asset Management Program or a related post-secondary education program
• Experience with Accumap, Abadata, Qbyte Land System, provincial databases
• General knowledge of the surface lifecycle
