This Security Officer position works under the direction of the Security Supervisor and involves essential duties to protect patients, visitors, and staff. The role requires you to respond promptly to all security incidents and maintain a safe hospital environment through effective policing techniques and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute emergency responses and assist during crises

• Thoroughly document all incidents and actions taken

• Conduct patrols and ensure hospital security compliance

• Manage access control systems for authorized personnel

• Support dispatch duties and interactions with other agencies

Requirements:

• High school diploma is mandatory; higher education is a plus

• 1-3 years of related security experience is preferred

• Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License required

• Obtain CPR/AED/First Aid certification via training

• Must complete CPI de-escalation training within 90 days
