Event Security Professional

Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation is seeking an Event Security Agent dedicated to ensuring fan safety and enhancing guest experiences through professionalism.

As an Event Security Agent, you will be an integral part of CSEC’s team, creating a safe environment for attendees at exciting events. Your responsibilities include conducting screenings, directing crowds, and addressing safety issues promptly. You'll work as a frontline supporter of fan experience while maintaining calmness amid busy atmospheres.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster a welcoming and secure environment for guests

• Conduct screening and bag checks effectively

• Direct crowd flow and manage venue policies

• Ensure access control and credential verification

• Identify and resolve security concerns rapidly

Requirements:

• Alberta SSIA Security license required

• Minimum 2 years of security or event experience

• AGLC Pro-Serve certification, obtain Pro-Tect within 30 days

• Strong verbal communication in stressful conditions

• Physical stamina for standing and walking long hours
