Step into a rewarding role with the Town of Banff as a full-time Enforcement Officer for Bylaws. Lead the charge in upholding municipal regulations and ensuring community safety.
As a dedicated member of the Municipal Enforcement team, you will enforce Town Bylaws and parking regulations, contributing to the overall quality of life in Banff. Your responsibilities include conducting patrols of parking areas and utilizing the electronic ticketing system to document infractions accurately. Excellent interpersonal skills will help you navigate conversations with residents and visitors while managing sometimes emotional situations with grace and professionalism.
Collaboration with other departments is key to your success in resolving bylaw complaints.
Key Responsibilities:
• Patrol areas for parking enforcement and regulation
• Enforce bylaws using electronic ticketing methods
• Resolve community complaints with professionalism
• Record all enforcement activities accurately
• Work with other departments to gather necessary evidence
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in an enforcement-related field
• Prior experience in municipal enforcement
• Valid Alberta driver’s license required
• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations
• Background check clearance essential
