As a fixed-term, on-call Security Guard 1, you'll engage in essential patrol duties and support emergency procedures. This position is crucial for maintaining safety and enforcing procedures while interacting positively with visitors throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol zoo grounds, ensuring safety and security

• Monitor security systems and respond to incidents

• Assist with emergency situations and crowd management

• Communicate effectively with guests and staff

• Complete daily operational tasks and reports as required

Requirements:

• Valid Alberta Security License and First Aid certification

• A Class 5 Driver’s License and clear criminal record

• Familiarity with CCTV and access control systems

• Minimum of 1 year in security or related roles

• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
