Event Door Staff

Overview

We are seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to join our team as Pro Tect Staff. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and security at various rodeo's and licensed events in and around Calgary. Pro Tect Staff members are responsible for maintaining a secure environment, responding to incidents, and providing excellent customer service. • Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure safety and security protocols are followed.
• Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as needed.
• Provide assistance and support to staff, visitors, and clients while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential security risks or hazards.
• Document incidents and prepare reports as required.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on safety procedures and protocols.

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications in security or safety management is a plus.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during shifts.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Previous experience in security or bar experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: $16.50-$18.00 per year
