As a Protective Services Officer II, you will play a vital role in the protection of patients, visitors, and staff. You'll be responsible for monitoring violence, enforcing policies, performing risk assessments, and responding to emergencies effectively. Strong interpersonal skills will enable you to work collaboratively with the clinical care team, enhancing experiences for clients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide security services and monitor for violence
• Enforce federal, provincial, and municipal statutes
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard identifications
• Prepare court documents, secure evidence, and support investigations
• Foster positive public relations with internal and external contacts
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Active Community Peace Officer eligibility
• Completed Community Peace Officer Induction Training
• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
• Successful Physical Abilities Requirement Evaluation
