Protect our borders as an Experienced Border Patrol Agent with U.S. Border Patrol. This full-time role requires prior law enforcement experience to qualify for higher grades and new hire incentives.
U.S. Border Patrol is actively hiring full-time Border Patrol Agents (GL-9 / GS-11) to secure our nation's borders. Candidates with backgrounds in law enforcement, including military police, can leverage their expertise in this impactful role. Enjoy substantial base pay, location pay, and up to $60,000 in sign-on incentives as you contribute to national safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Detect and question individuals suspected of legal violations
• Maintain surveillance and apprehend smugglers and illegal entrants
• Perform thorough searches for threats and contraband
• Conduct various patrols using government assets
• Gather intelligence and maintain evidence for investigations
Requirements:
• Prior law enforcement experience
• Proficiency in firearms and investigative reporting
• U.S. citizenship and residency
• Age below 40 at referral
• Spanish proficiency needed; training available
