As a Site Security Supervisor, you will play a key role in the day‑to‑day operations and processes in place. This position will be in one of our high‑profile sites in Calgary.

Main Responsibilities
The Security Supervisor acts as a liaison with the Client and Garda Account Manager addressing issues on security‑related situations as they arise on shift.
The Security Supervisor is responsible for effectively supporting necessary personnel, equipment, and processes to fulfil service commitments to Clients while on duty.
The Security Supervisor ensures Security Personnel are adequately trained, fully equipped, given clear direction, and provides continuous encouragement and support.
The Security Supervisor presents a professional demeanor in appearance and behavior, representing the property in all interactions.
Performs administrative duties of the department as assigned by the Security Manager.
Conducts continuous training with Security Personnel on the Citizen’s Powers of Arrest under Section 494, Use of Force under Sections 25/26 under the Criminal Code of Canada.
Provides continuous training on the Trespass to Premise Act of Alberta.
Commends and/or disciplines Security Personnel in conjunction with the Security Manager and Garda World Account Manager/Human Resources.
Reviews all reports and memo books completed by Security Personnel daily to ensure accuracy and timely submission.
Performs other duties and tasks as assigned by the Security Manager and responds to directions from Shopping Centre Management.
Qualifications
1‑3 years of experience as a security supervisor.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Valid Alberta Security license.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, both oral and written.
Ability to follow operational security measures, protect confidential information, and exercise good judgment and discretion.
Comprehension of the Canadian Criminal Code and Trespass to Property Act powers of arrest.
Strong customer service skills, mature attitude, and professionalism.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
Leadership and mentorship skills.
Ability to work in a team environment or independently as required.
