Overview
The Supervisor, Asset Protection, Audit And Control oversees daily loss prevention operations and leads a team of Loss Prevention Investigators. This role manages internal and external loss investigations, store audit programs, and collaborates with store leadership to reduce stock loss and ensure policy compliance.
Responsibilities- Supervise and schedule Loss Prevention Investigators to ensure coverage and departmental standards are met
- Generate, analyze and communicate reports on stock shortage performance, investigations and fraud prevention
- Review inventory accuracy and shortage controls to identify risk exposures and recommend corrective actions
- Communicate audit results to store management and support execution of shrink reduction strategies
- Coordinate with store operations and visual teams on security plans for events and inventory cycle counts
- Oversee exception report reviews and lead internal and external investigations, collaborating with law enforcement as needed
- Degree, diploma in law enforcement or related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years progressive Loss Prevention experience in a high-volume retail environment
- Current Provincial Security Guard License and Standard First Aid, CPR OPA Level II
- Formal training in WZ interview techniques or similar interviewing/interrogation methods
- Strong leadership, communication and presentation skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and system tools
