Lead Security Guard at Heritage Park

Step into a leadership role as a Security Guard Shift Lead with Heritage Park, Canada’s largest living history museum. You will oversee daily operations, ensuring safety and guest service in a dynamic environment.

As a Shift Lead in Security, you will manage both security guard duties and lead your team effectively. This position involves supervising shifts, incident response, access control, and enhancing visitor experiences. You'll ensure that operational standards are met while modeling professional conduct and providing guidance to your team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as primary shift lead, briefing guards and managing assignments

• Conduct pre-shift briefings and handle staffing needs

• Provide hands-on coaching to enhance guest service

• Oversee security incident responses and emergency support

• Ensure complete documentation and compliance with regulations

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience, with 1 year in a lead role

• Valid Alberta Security Services License and driver's license required

• Training in conflict de-escalation and use of force preferred

• Strong interpersonal skills for effective client service

• Ability to work varied shifts in outdoor conditions
