Calgary Drop-In Security Ambassador

Position: Calgary Drop-In Security Ambassador Role
Join us at Calgary Drop-In and Rehab Centre as a Security Ambassador, safeguarding our community and making a real difference in the lives of those in need.

This full-time day shift position operates from 7 AM to 7 PM, following a 4 on/4 off schedule. As a Security Ambassador, you will address safety concerns and uphold a dignified environment for all patrons.

Your role integrates with community partners to enhance support for individuals experiencing homelessness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the facility and communicate safety protocols

• Engage with clients around housing discussions

• Collaborate with local emergency services for safety

• Provide assistance and guidance to guests and volunteers

• Conduct regular patrols and maintain building security

Requirements:

• Alberta Security License is mandatory

• Recent Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check

• Experience in human services is advantageous

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and stressful situations
