Research Assistant in Pediatric Clinical Research

Become a Research Assistant within the Clinical Therapeutics Unit at Alberta Children’s Hospital. This full-time role offers an opportunity to contribute to impactful pediatric clinical trials.

In this position, you will support various research activities related to Phase II-IV trials. Key tasks include patient recruitment, data collection and entry, and managing supply logistics. Your organizational skills and detail-oriented approach will be essential in maintaining databases and ensuring compliance with study protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient screening and recruitment for studies

• Oversee management of study-related databases

• Support collection of laboratory samples and data

• Track and organize study visit materials efficiently

• Maintain regulatory compliant documentation and supplies

Requirements:

• Preferred Master’s Degree or significant research experience

• Proficiency in EDC platforms like Red Cap

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work both independently and in a team

• TCPS2 certification is required
