Position: Dedicated Health Care Aide Needed
Location: Drumheller

Elevate the quality of life for residents at Drumheller Health Center as a Health Care Aide. In this role, you will deliver personalized care while supporting daily activities and fostering independence among elderly clients.

As a Health Care Aide within the Long Term Care unit, you will play a vital role on the health care team. Your tasks will include assisting clients with daily living requirements and maintaining effective communication with healthcare professionals. The position involves working with patients and their families, creating a supportive environment, especially for those with dementia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support clients in activities of daily living

• Provide personal care according to care plans

• Foster client independence and emotional connection

• Observe and detail changes in clients' conditions

• Maintain safety and effective communication within the team

Requirements:

• Health Care Aide Certificate within 18 months of hire

• Nursing students with minimum 100 hours of practicum accepted

• Must be active in Alberta Health Care Aide Directory

• Proof of enrollment required as per Directory

• Ensure compliance with qualification standards
