Heavy Construction Equipment Operator

- Based in Airdrie, AB, with travel to various locations in Central and Southern Alberta (including up to Edmonton and Banff areas).

- Wage:
- $36.00 to $37.00/hour (based on skills and experience)

Outdoors, Dusty, Noisy, Job entails working close to buildings, utilities, moving equipment and public traffic, etc. - Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Physically demanding, Handling heavy loads (up to 50 lbs/23 kg), Attention to detail, Fast-paced environment - Personal Suitability:
Team Player, Accurate, Organized, Reliability, Flexibility - Own Tools:
Steel-toed safety boots - Security and Safety:
Pre-access drug and alcohol screening is required prior to working on specific job sites
- Operate heavy equipment
- Operate computer-controlled equipment
- Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
- Secure special attachments to equipment
- Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment
- Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment
- Perform minor repairs to equipment
- Monitor safety conditions
- May be required to perform related duties as needed
