Position: Security Tecnician I

Job Summary:The primary responsibilities include delivering preventative visits to access control, intruder alarm, and CCTV systems, mainly in commercial environments, adhering to company and industry standards within specified time frames.
Requirements:
Passion for the trade and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.Excellent customer communication skills, team-oriented, with a can-do attitude.Good knowledge of CANASA and security industry standards.Electronic Installation Qualification(s) or equivalent (preferred).Ability to manage work while embodying the company's vision and values.Experience in a similar role within the security industry.Multidisciplinary experience in service, small works, fault-finding, maintenance, and installation knowledge.Full Clean Driving License (essential).Ability to adapt to new technologies.Experience dealing with pre-booked preventative visits on systems of varying sizes.Excellent fault diagnosis skills, including working on complex systems, with occasional assistance to installation teams.Qualifications:Extensive knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Door Entry, and Intruder Alarm Systems.Minimum 5 years of experience in the Electronic Security Systems industry.Knowledge of Systems Networking and IP Configuration.Ability to obtain Federal Level II Security Clearance.Proficiency in Excel and Word.Familiar with security solutions provided by Ainsworth (e.g., AMAG, Avigilon, Genetec, ICT, RS2, Salient, etc.).Why work at Ainsworth?
