Shop Technician

SPROUSE Fire & Safety is one of the largest and most experienced providers of Fire, Safety and First Aid equipment and services in Western Canada. A part of the Onyx-Fire family of companies, Sprouse Fire & Safety, is growing and searching for a Shop Technician to join our team.

We are looking for experienced CFAA Alarm Technicians and Junior Fire Alarm Technicians to join our team. The successful candidates will have a minimum of 3 years experience. The candidate must be professional and take pride in a job well done, provide high quality customer service, and report any issues to their supervisor during daily communications. Alarm Technicians should have an eye for detail, be self-motivated, show initiative and pay close attention to safety considerations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide professional, detailed and exceptional customer experience.

This ideal candidate possesses the following:

• CFAA Certification
• 3+ years as a Fire Alarm Technician
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills
• Organized and self-motivated
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Proficient in relevant computer applications
• Positive & professional attitude consistently
