Summary:
Mircom is searching for talented and certified Fire Alarm Technicians to join our team in Calgary, AB. If you are an experienced Fire Alarm Technician with great customer service skills, we have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform Rack-up, Programming, Verification and Inspection of fire alarm systems, access control and intercom systems, along with other fire protection equipmentPerform inspections and service on Mircom and non-Mircom productComplete and return inspection reports in a timely mannerProvide technical support to customers as neededProvide operational training to end-usersEnsure our customers and end-users have a positive experience working with MircomRead and understand engineered drawings, specifications, programs, schematics, installation manuals, and service manualsRequirements and Skills:
Technicians shall have 3-5 years of experience as a Service Technician within the Fire Alarm industryElectronics diploma or equivalent from accredited college/university or documented and demonstrated trade qualificationTechnicians shall have Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) Registration or comparable qualificationAbility to communicate in English both verbally and in writingAbility to lift equipment and tools up to 70lbs and climb ladders and scaffoldingPossess a valid and clean motor vehicle license (G License)Knowledge of Mircom systems is an assetCompetency in Microsoft Word and Excel is an assetWhat Mircom Offers:
