About the Role

Carpenter—min 2 years experience. Experience in carpentry—whether you’re building cabinets, framing houses, or crafting tiny homes for squirrels, we want to see your skills. A great sense of humour. Yes, we want you to nail the job—but we also want you to nail the jokes. Attention to detail. We don’t want you cutting corners unless we’re talking about crown moulding. Ability to lift more than just your spirits.

A bit of muscle is a plus! Someone who’s comfortable with power tools and good‑natured banter.

• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
• Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware.
• Maintain, repair and renovate residential and commercial properties.
• Collaborate with our team to create custom solutions for unique spaces.
• Measure twice, cut once—unless you’re measuring for jokes, in which case, measure thrice.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment (because even the funniest carpenter doesn’t want to trip over their tools).
