Position OverviewCFASA is seeking a full-time, contract Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting children, teens, and their families by designing, implementing, and monitoring neurodiversity-affirming programs. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will promote strengths-based approaches, prioritize motivation and assent, and empower families to achieve their goals.
This is a full-time contract position (1.0 FTE / 35 hours per week), scheduled Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., with flexibility in scheduling within those hours. Hybrid service delivery (in-person and virtual) and opportunities to bank time may be available based on program needs. This role is based in Calgary, AB, and requires reliable transportation

Responsibilities- Deliver neurodiversity-affirming supports that align with CFASA’s values and philosophical framework.
- Foster positive relationships with children, teens, and families, emphasizing their voice and choice.
- Conduct functional assessments and collaborate with families to create individualized, strengths-based goals.
- Design and oversee evidence-informed skill-building programs that respect the unique needs of each individual.
- Coach and mentor Learning Support Assistants, using evidence-based strategies to enhance their skills and confidence.
- Collect, analyze, and share progress data to ensure the effectiveness of programs.
- Write and maintain accurate service records, including reports and service summaries.
- Engage with other providers to support families in multiple settings.
- Stay current on best practices and contribute to team learning through professional development.
