The role, situated within Alberta’s Court and Justice Services, requires a compassionate individual to engage with clients both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Your focus will be on screening, needs assessment, and providing referrals. Building strong partnerships with the judiciary and legal community will be essential for effective service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct triage and intake services for clients
• Facilitate negotiations and assist in reaching consent terms
• Support court appearances by providing crucial resources
• Establish effective partnerships with external stakeholders
• Maintain accurate records for client services
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent experience
• Experience in client interviews and assessments
• Knowledge of Family Law Act and dispute resolution
• Strong communication and decision-making skills
• Ability to work under pressure in emotional situations
