Join Heritage Park as a First Nations Interpreter/Demonstrator and immerse yourself in Indigenous storytelling. This seasonal role allows you to educate visitors on Treaty 7 cultures and histories.

Commencing in April 2026, this position emphasizes collaboration and relational learning with Indigenous communities. Your tasks will include guiding immersive educational experiences and enhancing visitor engagement through cultural programming. Make a positive impact while nurturing a deeper understanding of Indigenous traditions and perspectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging living history demonstrations

• Educate guests on the lifestyles of Treaty 7 Nations

• Coordinate with Indigenous Elders for authentic experiences

• Foster dialogue on culture, reconciliation, and history

• Ensure visitor safety and satisfaction at exhibits

Requirements:

• Strong connection to Treaty 7 Indigenous communities

• Completed secondary education; post-secondary is preferred

• Familiarity with Indigenous history and traditional activities

• Previous experience in engaging large audiences

• Ability to work independently and adapt to dynamic situations
