Serve the youth of Anderson County as an Intake Officer, assessing juveniles entering the justice system. Engage with families, conduct interviews, and recommend service placements.
As an Intake Officer, you will play a vital role in processing juveniles by gathering important background information and evaluating their needs. You’ll collaborate closely with law enforcement and social service agencies to ensure prompt intervention for at-risk youth. Attendance at detention hearings and the coordination of paperwork will be essential components of this rewarding position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Schedule and facilitate intake interviews with youth
• Evaluate youth needs and collaborate with service agencies
• Prepare essential legal documents for court proceedings
• Provide crisis intervention for families in distress
• Maintain thorough records and documentation
Requirements:
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred
