Take on a full-time role as a Housing Transitions Caseworker at Alpha House, where your work will directly impact clients seeking housing stability. Engage with individuals using a Housing First and Recovery-Oriented model.
In this role, you will provide essential support through personalized case management, assist with securing housing, and foster client independence. Your collaboration with community partners will help clients navigate their recovery and improve their quality of life. A strong commitment to ethical standards and client dignity is vital.
Key Responsibilities:
• Proactively engage clients to identify needs and strengths
• Assist clients in the housing process including move-ins
• Provide life skills training and recovery support
• Ensure thorough documentation of client interactions
• Collaborate with community resources for client success
Requirements:
• Diploma in social sciences or equivalent
• At least two years in housing case work
• One year of experience in addiction support
• Valid Class 5 driver license and clear driving abstract
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
