Support vulnerable populations as a Crisis Support Specialist s On Call position requires flexibility, allowing you to work evenings and weekends to assist individuals in need.
Fear Is Not Love seeks a competent Specialist for its Client Services Program. This role is pivotal in offering direction and support to staff members dealing with domestic violence, children’s services, and other urgent situations. You will oversee a 24/7 support team, manage crisis calls, and maintain documentation of critical incidents, ensuring compliance with established standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee shelter staff during on-call shifts
• Direct communication and guidance for crisis situations
• Document notable incidents and staff requests
• Attend necessary meetings and phone check-ins
• Ensure accreditation and compliance are maintained
Requirements:
• Degree in Social Sciences or related field preferred
• Four years of supervisory experience required
• Experience in residential or related settings
• Strong interpersonal and organizing skills
• Must pass police and intervention record checks
