This full-time position demands a commitment to supporting youth in a community group home setting. Responsibilities include guiding daily activities, managing crises, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team. Your availability for a flexible 4-on, 4-off shift pattern is necessary to provide round-the-clock support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate youth in daily routines such as education and appointments
• Implement a therapeutic approach to care
• Supervise youth and manage crisis situations
• Work closely within a treatment planning team
• Transport youth and conduct assessments as required
Requirements:
• Proven experience in working with individuals with diverse needs
• Flexible availability for rotating shifts required
• Diploma or degree in a relevant field preferred
• Class 5 Alberta driver’s license and a clean abstract mandatory
• Background checks required prior to employment
