Lifemark is hiring a Career Counsellor to help Alberta residents navigate their employment paths. The successful candidate will be experienced in career planning, familiar with cultural diversity, and have strong teamwork abilities. This position will involve direct client support and collaboration with local resources to ensure sustainable job placements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver career and employment counseling services
• Organize and facilitate essential skills workshops
• Assess client employment history and transferable skills
• Provide assistance in creating resumes and cover letters
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or related Diploma in Social Sciences
• Professional development goals related to rehabilitation counseling
• Understanding of Alberta’s educational and job market
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork experience
• Background check required before employment
